At today`s tour, you will first get an overview of the city from Monserrate (3150m) and enjoy a breathtaking view of the colossal capital of Colombia. After a typical hot chocolate with cheese at the Chorro de Quevedo, explore the neighborhood of La Candelaria, Bogota's well-preserved city center, and visit the Plaza Bolivar, the government district and stunning churches such as the San Francisco and San Agustín. At 09:00 we will pick you up from the hotel. You will visit the lagoon Guatavita, the place where the legend of El Dorado was supposed to have happened. The gold treasures that are to be found in the depths of these waters have for centuries attracted gold diggers from all over the world. You walk to the lookout point from where you can enjoy an enchanting view of the lagoon and the Andean savannah. Then visit the largest underground cathedral in the world. This is located in the nearby salt mines of Zipaquirá. Return to Bogota. Duration: 7-8h

Today you fly over the Magdalena Valley to Medellin. The second largest city in the country and capital of the province of Antioquia, counts in the metropolitan area about 4 million inhabitants. The development of Medellín in recent years has made it the so-called "city of wonder". At the beginning of 2013, the metropolis on the Aburrá Valley won the Wall Street Journal Prize as the Most Innovative City in the World. In the afternoon, discover the city from a different perspective on a private city tour. Today you visit the pretty mountain village of Santa Elena. Here you will encounter a traditional "Silletero" and learn a lot about the ecological cultivation of one of Colombia's most important export products when visiting a flower farm. After lunch you will learn firsthand about the cultivation and preparation of the quintessential Colombian product, coffee. You will visit a typical coffee farm located in the hills near the city to observe the process "from the seed to the cup of coffee" of one of the best coffees in the world. Duration: 7h

Today's excursion takes you to Santa Fe de Antioquia, a national monument, 1,000 meters below and 90 km away. The beautifully preserved colonial architecture gives the town, founded in 1541, the flair of a place where time seems to have stood still. You will visit the cathedral, the town hall, the Plaza Mayor, the Archbishop's Palace and various stately houses, among them the "Casa de las dos Palmas". You will then visit the nearby "Puente de Occidente" bridge, which was completed in 1895 and spans over the Cauca River and is also a national monument. The drive back to Medellin to the hotel takes you across the metropolis in the Aburra Valley. Duration: 8h

Today we fly to Cartagena in the Caribbean coast. The Colombian Caribbean coast is one of the most diverse coastlines in the world. It ranges from the tropical rainforests in the southwest to the Guajira desert in the northeast, in between there are wide lagoon landscapes and the highest coastal mountains in the world at just under 6000 meters, the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
