Due to the location on the equator, the weather in Colombia during the year has minor fluctuations in temperature. The temperature varies depending on the height above sea level. Cash in Colombia?
The currency in Colombia is the Colombian peso (€ 1 = 3000 pesos). By debit card and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard) you can get money easily in a ATM. Credit cards are accepted in all major cities, hotels, shops and restaurants. Nevertheless, the change of some Euros or US dollars is recommended for all cases. These can be exchanged on site in exchange offices or banks

The mains voltage is 110V in Colombia and sockets are designed for two-pole flat plug (US standard).
Behavior
Apart from the usual rules of politeness, there is no specific code of conduct. Everyday clothing is usually enough, in particular social occasions as well as in fine restaurants you should dress appropriately. Smoking in restaurants is prohibited in almost all reastaurants.
Tips?
Taxi drivers usually expect a tip. Porters in airports and hotels should give 3,000 pesos per bag. Restaurants, bars or cafes put 10% service charge on the bill and expect this amount, but is not mandatory.
